new year, new way of life

it's been awhile since i blogged, i know. i blame it on the lack of internet access. well, enough of complaining, let me get on with updating what i have been up to.

so as u know, i resigned my work; one which i fell off the ladder and had a bad sprained ankle. and now, i am studying in monash, sunway campus. they gave me one year exemption, which means im going in as a 2nd year student, tho i'll have to take about 2 first-year subjects. but that's okay i guess.

i went through orientation week just fine. thank goodness there was natalie(same high school) and haruka to accompany me. was a great surprise to see andrew and zion too. makes me feel less like a newbie outsider. made some new friends during orientation; mostly natalie's MUFY friends. and... thank goodness galvin from adp is in 2nd year and he intro-ed me to some really cool people that have been really helpful to me. thank you!

my timetable this semester a bit effed up, cause i have one lecture clashing with another - biotech and physiology. gonna be super weird; i'm telling people that i'll be sitting in one class for 15 minutes then running off to the other for 15 minutes - gonna be darn fit this sem! but nooooo... that's the stupidest thing to do. so i'll be skipping one class or the other every week. lucky i met some nice people who've agreed to keep me updated with what i missed during class.

one of the nice people, victor just informed me that i will have to get a blood test and 3 JABS to vaccinate myself for when i go for attachment. 1st week in uni and already i learned that i will need injections. dear me, what other horrible things are up against me?! o.O

currently i'm still sort of living in terror bcos victor told me that the lab reports have a certain format to follow and i am quite clueless since i am new. quite scary to make new friends also, as most 2nd year students have their own cliques. been hanging out with cynthia jason and michelle a lot. went to karaoke with chan and them all that time. quite funny la. *pics from michelle's blog

this year, i have decided to become a nerd, yet at the same time, appreciate the people around me. a special friend has left us, leaving an empty hole in each of us. we miss you loads, take care up there.

p/s: i cut my hair really short at monsoon, one utama with michelle and aaron the other day. i think it is quite short. reminds me of my younger days haircut. yes, that short.
