hey guys, sorry for not updating lately. was very busy. first with the presidential debate, then history105 test, and then... just plain lazy.

anyways, the presidential debate. usually, i will try not to comment so much about stuffs that happen. but this debate, i really must say something.

I CANT BELIEVE THAT DUDE SAID THAT PROM WAS INSIGNIFICANT COMPARED TO THE 4TH JULY THING.

anyways, i think only close-minded people would judge how significant an event is based on the celebration.

i think these people should take into consideration other factors that would make a celebration successful, eg MANPOWER, interest etc etc. and JULY, my dear, is a hectic month for every adp student because deadlines of projects, assignments, quizes, tests are always almost due on the same day n stuff. i shall forgive your lack of experience because maybe u are a noobster n dont know about these yet. but please, u should get your facts right before talking so much cock la.

so anyways, as i was saying, if sc were to make 4th july (america's independence day) such a big event, dont u think we'd be putting too much pressure onto adp students to the extend that their grades and academic performance may be affected? JUST WHO are we to jeopardize their grades, that would be SO SELFISH RIGHT! i mean, come on la! we come to college, main purpose to get good academic grades. eca n events are important too, but we got to set our priorities right. if we really wanted to focus on events n stuff, what for we come to college? go out n make the events happen la..

prom is after exams, so why shouldn't it be a bigger celebration if people are more free then?

and honestly, if adp students really wanted a grand 4th july celebration of the independence day, they would have suggested it as a THEME FOR PROM.

so although both events are probably almost equally as significant, u shouldnt judge from how big the celebration is, right or not? come on la, common sense. i was so speechless at the guts he had to point that out i almost died.
